White Paper: 6 steps to reduce out-of-stocks

During a recent interview with RFID 24-7, Dr. Bill Hardgrave, the Dean of the Harbert College of Business at Auburn University, indicated that while two-thirds of the top 100 apparel retailers in the U.S. have engaged with RFID, only one-third of the mid-to-bottom 100 have begun to leverage the technology.

Apparel retailers are rapidly adopting RFID solutions.

That leaves a lot of retailers who have yet to deploy. Inventory accuracy remains the primary reason for adopting RFID, but retailers are discovering several add-on benefits, including enabling omni-channel retail strategies.

A recent white paper from Checkpoint Systems entitled “6 Steps Retailers Should Take Today to Reduce Out-of-Stocks” further defines the benefits retailers can expect from investing in RFID, including enhanced customer loyalty from having the right product on store shelves at the right time.
