RFID played a major role at Harley Davidson’s 14th annual Open Road Fest at Lake Balaton in Hungary in June. Open Road, a five-day festival to celebrate the Harley lifestyle, represented the launch of Intellipay, the most advanced RFID cashless payment system in the events and festival industry. In addition, Harley Davidson relied on RFID to create a fully integrated event by using the technology for access control and social media enablement.
Since Open Road, Intellitix has also successfully deployed site-wide Intellipay systems at the Stavernfestivalen and Slottsfjell festivals in Norway. The technology will be deployed at a festival in North America for the first time next month.
