It’s official. A deal that was rumored for weeks came to fruition yesterday when Stanley Healthcare Solutions, a division of Stanley Black & Decker, announced it is acquiring AeroScout, Inc., a provider of Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS) for healthcare and industrial customers. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The acquisition will accelerate the growth trajectory of Stanley Healthcare Solutions, as well as augment the industrial and security offerings of Stanley Black & Decker. In a statement, Stanley Black & Decker says that the combined entity will transform operations, supply chain management and safety for healthcare and industrial customers around the world.
Stanley Healthcare Solutions serves more than 15,000 healthcare organizations and is a market-leading provider of patient and resident safety solutions, storage and supply chain solutions, and Transformational Lean™ offerings.
